The CAEL Gas Vertical Broiler KB 2 is a commercial-grade cooking solution designed for efficient, consistent, and high-volume meat roasting applications such as shawarma, gyro, and kebabs. Built with an all stainless steel structure, including stainless steel heat shields on both sides and an integrated oil collector, the unit is corrosion-resistant, easy to clean, and engineered for long-term professional use.
Powered by two independently controlled infrared burners, the broiler delivers a total heat input of 19,000 BTU/hr (Natural Gas) or 16,000 BTU/hr (LPG), ensuring fast heat-up and stable cooking performance. A continuous pilot system allows instant burner ignition with no waiting time, while the 4 RPM low-speed heavy-duty motor ensures even rotation and uniform cooking, preventing localized burning.
The KB 2 offers a large meat capacity of 20.5 kg (45 lbs), making it ideal for commercial batch cooking. The spit height of 380 mm (15 inches) and adjustable distance between the spit and burners provide precise temperature control based on meat thickness and cooking requirements.
Designed for versatility and safety, the broiler supports dual gas compatibility, with manifold pressure rated at 4" W.C. for Natural Gas and 10" W.C. for Liquid Propane, allowing flexible gas source selection. Stainless steel heat shields protect operators and the kitchen environment, while the oil collector minimizes grease spillage and simplifies cleaning.
